For Our Faculty

The Office of Community Engagement supports the work of Georgetown University faculty to ensure that the University’s engagement in the city is sustained and meaningful. 

We can support faculty in the following ways:

• Assist in promotion of and communications about Georgetown faculty research and expertise with community impact
• Connect faculty with community organizations for partnership opportunities
• Facilitate collaboration between faculty on local issues of shared interest
• Identify opportunities for faculty to serve as experts to local government agencies or community organizations
• Support and build relationships with local government agencies for research or partnership opportunities
• Engage faculty on University master planning
• Support faculty interest and involvement in neighborhood issues, including local neighborhood events and programs
