Lauinger Library, Georgetown University’s primary library, is open to our neighbors who wish to explore our collections and archival exhibits.
Special Collections Exhibits
Lauinger Library displays archives from the University’s Special Collections in four different galleries and exhibit areas. Exhibits are free and open to the public. Vist the Lauinger exhibits website for more information about current and past exhibits.
The Special Collections Research Center is currently undergoing renovation and exhibit space has moved to a temporary space on the first floor. Learn more about the renovations, expected to be completed in 2015.
Using Lauinger Library
Our neighbors are welcome to read and study at Lauinger Library, browse the collections, and use guest computers. Visitors can earn borrowing priveleges from Lauinger, Blommer, Woodstock and Bioethics Libraries by becoming a member of the Library Associates.
