Performing Arts in the Neighborhood

The Department of Performing Arts at Georgetown University offers high-quality performing arts right here in the neighborhood, including music, theater and dance productions throughout the year. 

Friday Music Series

The Georgetown University Music Program offers the Friday Music Series, a program of free concerts featuring acclaimed jazz, classical, and contemporary artists. Concerts are held Friday afternoons at 1:15 p.m. in McNeir Auditorium in New North Hall.

Department of Performing Arts

The Davis Performing Arts Center includes plays from the Theatre and Performance Studies Program and co-curricular student theater groups; dance productions from student dance ensembles; and musical performances from the Georgetown University Music Program and student music ensembles. Performing Arts also offers a number of special performances in music and theater throughout the year.
