Courses for Neighbors

In the spirit of learning and teaching, Georgetown University offers our neighbors the opportunity to continuing a lifetime of learning.

Georgetown University Learning Community Program

The Georgetown University Learning Community offers a series, non-credit courses to neighbors over 55 years of age. Registration fees are $30 per course. Courses are taught by retired university faculty and most courses meet on the Main Campus unless otherwise noted. Visit the program page to register and see more information about each course.

Senior Citizen Non-Degree Auditor Program

Our neighbors over 65 years of age can also audit main campus undergraduate courses through the Senior Citizen Non-Degree Auditor Program. Undergraduate courses numbered below 400, with the exception of language courses, are available for audit.

Course listings are available on the University Registrar’s website. Neighbors need to obtain consent from the professor before auditing the course and pay a nominal $34 per credit.
